In the late summer of 1995, high in the Sierra Nevada of California, a few hundred women embarked on a hike to raise funds for art and technology programs for the local school district. Every year since then, the concept has been refined.... the group has expanded... the generated revenue has escalated ($1 Million raised in one school district alone!)... and the fun has blossomed.
